Belinda Moyes has been appointed as the full-time Chair of the National Nursing and Nursing Education Taskforce. Prior to this appointment, Belinda held the position of Victoria's Principal Nurse and Director of the Nurse Policy Branch.
Belinda's career spans approximately 30 years across public, private and rural sectors. Belinda's experience includes leading the integration process associated with hospital mergers and corporate and director of operation roles in large public and private hospitals.
Belinda is a Fellow of the College of Nursing Australia, a member
of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate
Fellow of the College of Health Service Executives. In October 2004,
Belinda was appointed as an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of
Health and Behavioural Sciences at Deakin University.
Belinda has had several board appointments in community, research and public healthcare sector organisations.
Belinda's particular interests include leadership, organisational
culture, strategic thinking and the whole of workforce planning.
