DHS Regions
The Department of Human Services delivers services through its eight geographical regions. There are three metropolitan regions:
and five rural regions:
Regions plan for, fund and deliver health, housing and community services and develop strong partnerships with agencies to collaboratively plan local services to give the Victorian community high quality services.
Regions are the department's public face and most departmental clients receive services from regional staff. Almost 80 per cent of the department's workforce is regionally based, and regions deliver services from more than 500 locations state wide.
Please visit the regional websites listed above. For more information please see the DHS Regions overview.
