Victorian Homelessness Action Plan 2011 – 2015

The Victorian Homelessness Action Plan 2011-2015 focuses on:

  • supporting innovative approaches to homelessness
  • investigating models that focus specifically on early intervention and prevention
  • better targeting resources when and where they are most needed and where they will make the biggest difference.

The VHAP is a four-year plan to deliver services in a new way to people experiencing homelessness.

The plan sets out a process to review the existing system, trial innovative approaches and recommend a new way of working to address homelessness in Victoria.

While this process is underway, the existing homelessness service system will continue to provide support to Victorians who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
