About the Better Health Channel
The Better Health Channel was established in May 1999 by the Victorian (Australia) Government. Its role is to provide the community with access to online health related information which is:
- Quality assured
- Reliable
- Up-to-date
- Locally relevant.

Web Services
The Web Services Group was established in April 2003. The Director of Planning and Resources chairs this group. It oversees the development of the corporate planning structure for web and electronic services within the Division as well as facilitating a whole-of-health approach to on line publishing across the Department.
