VHA annual conference: People centred healthcare systems

The aim of the conference is to inform the executives, administrators and boards of health service agencies of the systems needed to support changing population needs, and the changing face of their workforce to ensure Victoria has a healthy, productive society.
The conference theme, People centred healthcare systems, encapsulates the needs, wants and expectations of individuals, families and communities, and how health practitioners, health administrators, and bureaucrats could respond. A systems approach to health allows the focus to shift from a disparate group of independent entities into a dynamic and complex whole, in which participating units recognise their interdependence and interact as a structured, functioning unit.
