Seminars: Addressing health inequalities
Date published: 2009-10-01 14:27:02
Health inequalities good practice workshop, 12:30-1pm
Principles of good practice outlined in Fairer Health include planning for impact, a multi-sector approach, community-owned practice and ways to rethink inclusion that connect to the wider causes of health. This workshop provides an overview of what the principles mean in a practical sense and includes examples of how the concepts can be incorporated into health promotion work. Useful articles and resources will be disseminated, including information about the good practice health inequalities training that is available through VicHealth.
