RSS - what's this?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary.

To access the news feeds you need an RSS feed aggregator or reader. There are large number of RSS readers available to the public. Some are downloadable programs that are installed on your computer, while others are web-based services that you log in to through your web browser. Some web browsers (such as Firefox, Opera and Safari) are also capable of tracking RSS feeds.
