New regional cancer data now available

The Victorian Cancer Registry has for many years published annual statistics in its Canstat publications, the latest being Cancer in Victoria 2006. Much of this information is now also available on-line from the interactive reporting system or as prepared slides from the downloadable Victorian cancer slides compendium.
The Cancer Statistics home page includes links to:
· Interactive on-line statistics, which contain nearly a quarter of century of cancer data presented in a variety of reports and graph formats or as data downloads.
· Victorian Cancer Slides, which present statistical trends for a number of different cancers are available for use in presentations.
· Cancer in Victoria 2006 (Canstat No. 46), which includes incidence and mortality statistics for Victoria.
