Gippsland 5 day health promotion short course

Do you want to learn more about:

·         the key principles and models in health promotion

·         evidence-based health promotion practice

·         how to conduct quality health promotion planning and evaluation

·         choosing a mix health promotion programs and strategies

·         policies, funding and collaboration for health promotion.

 

DHS developed the health promotion short course in conjunction with a range of leading health promotion organisations and it has now been successfully delivered across Victoria for a number of years. The training is aimed at workers looking to increase their skills and capacity to undertake quality health promotion practice.

 

Participants will gain an introduction to both health promotion theory and practice working in a small group environment with peers from the Gippsland region.

 

The course costs $100 for the five days (with the remainder funded by the Central West Gippsland and South Coast Primary Care Partnerships). Please view the flyer for more information and to register.
