Additional support for bushfire affected communities
The Australian Government has announced additional funding to support communities affected by the Victorian bushfires. This includes increased funding to the nine Divisions of General Practice in the affected areas to enable them to engage additional allied mental health professionals or purchase additional psychological services to meet the increased demand and further funding to support volunteer resource centres, counselling and organisations supporting young people affected by the fires.

The Victorian Cancer Registry has launched its new on-line self-service data system to make publicly available extensive Victorian cancer data.  This includes mortality and incidence data in a variety of formats and enables data comparison locally, internationally and Australia wide.
