The Primary Health Branch has released the updated Community Health Priority Tools.

Event: launch of 'Well proud'
Developed by the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Health and Wellbeing, ‘Well proud’ is a guide to gay, lesbian, bisexual transgender and intersex inclusive practice for health and human services. It will be launched on Thursday 3 December at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Parkville.

Symposium: innovative models of oral health care for high risk populations
The Cooperative Research Centre for Oral Health Science, The University of Melbourne (CRC-OHS) and Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) are sponsoring this one-day symposium on ‘innovative models of oral health care for high risk populations’, to be held on 16 November 2009 in Melbourne.

Women’s Health Victoria is holding a workshop themed ‘considering gender and mental health’ on Friday 11 December in Melbourne.

Course: Agricultural health and medicine
The Agricultural Health and Medicine course is for anyone with an interest in farmer health – from nurses, general practitioners and allied health professionals to veterinarians, rural professionals, and policy makers. The Master of Public Health information night will be held on Wednesday 4 Nov 2009 at the University of Melbourne. The MPH is offered by the consortium of four Victorian universities: Deakin, La Trobe, Melbourne and Monash.
