Our role
The Information Systems & Development (ISD) Unit provides information technology services for the Division, including:
- Information Communication and Technology (ICT) contract and project management
- Software development/enhancements/procurement
- Divisional IT application support and administration
- Management of the Corporate Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)
- Management of the Human Services Directory
About the Human Services Directory
The Human Services Directory, which provides Practitioners and Service Providers with access to accurate and up-to-date information about health, social & disability services in Victoria, is the principal service directory within Victoria.
The Systems Development Team, as part of the ISD Unit, typically, performs the activities of:
- Participation in ICT projects as a team member/leader
- Development of specifications and technical documents relating to systems design, modification and testing procedures
- Management and evaluation of contracted supplier outputs
- Assisting in the building of working relationships between the IS&S unit and the RRHACS business units
- Managing user acceptance testings and test environments.
