The Corporate Integrity Information and Resolutions unit has responsibility for implementing the Whistleblowers Protection Act 2001 in the department. This has included the establishment of policies and procedures to manage all disclosures made under the Whistleblowers Protection Act to ensure confidentiality for potential complainants. The department has established a dedicated phone line for whistleblower complaints and a Whistleblowers website.
