This Regional Aboriginal Services Plan builds on statewide policy initiatives and key targets identified in the department's statewide Aboriginal Services Plan 2004.

The regional executive has determined eight priority projects to help us produce even better results and to reinforce a new regional service culture. This document is structured around these priorities, which will better address the needs of all client groups, with emphasis on particular groups.

- Refugee Health and Wellbeing Plan
The plan has a focus on three key areas: access, culturally appropriate service delivery and provision of resources for DHS regional staff and agencies. All program areas ¿ Housing, Community Care, Primary & Complex Care and Disability ¿ have identified actions to be implemented in 2009-2010. This action plan supports newly arrived communities and aims to respond to the diversity of refugee health and wellbeing needs.
