Putting Partnership into Practice

Since the completion of the Putting Partnerships into Practice (PPIP) Project in 2004, which involved a significant change management strategy for DHS staff, the department has continued to build on the partnership activities.

The PPIP highlighted the Department's commitment to developing stronger relationships with the community sector based on respect and reciprocity.

The overriding purpose of PPIP was to support a change process to reinforce examples of good practice and strengthen working relationships between DHS and the community service organisations (CSOs) that are funded by the Department.
