Competency Based Assessment

The Koorie Heritage Trust as a Registered Training Provider (RTO) is now offering an assessment function for participants of the program. The course has been aligned with the Community Services package at a diploma level, comprising one competency under Unit CHCCD13C Work within specific communities.

The assessment guide will be given to any participants after they contact the Trust to take up the assessment option. The guide outlines some practical strategies by which you can be assessed as having applied the training principles back in your work environments and can demonstrate learning from the program. You might consider undertaking a workplace project, developing some regional resources for your team or organisation, building stronger alliances with local Aboriginal organisations as approaches for assessment consideration.
