North Eastern AIDS Prevention Program offers a wide range of education and information from highly qualified, skilled and non-judgmental staff to clients of the program, health workers and other interested members of the community. All information is factual and up to date, FREE and is absolutely confidential. Reliable info about HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B and their modes of transmission, treatment and support and referral is available.

Other issues covered are drugs and their effects, safe injecting practices, safer sex and STD prevention, general health care, overdose and legal issues. All education is undertaken within a harm minimisation framework which seeks to reduce the potential health risks and problems often associated with injecting drug use.

The Steroid Peer Education Project targets people who inject anabolic steroids and is also involved in the education of health workers throughout Victoria.
Further information regarding anabolic steroid use is available on this web page or by emailing Cheryl Delalande at the address provided on the home page.
