Stawell nurse receives sector
recognition

Christine Gillmartin, recognised for her contribution to perioperative nursing. |
Stawell Regional Health’s Christine Gillmartin has received a
Certificate of Recognition from the Australian College of Operating Room
Nurses.
Ms Gillmartin, Day Procedure Unit Operating Suite and Central Sterile Supply
Department Nurse Unit Manager, was recognised for her significant contribution
to perioperative nursing.
It follows a Life Membership of the Australian Nursing Federation
Victoria Branch’s Perioperative Nurses Group and a Certificate of Honorary Membership
of the ANF’s Victorian Perioperative Nurses Group.
Ms Gillmartin has 25 years experience in nursing—23 of those
in the perioperative environment.
Her qualifications include General Nursing, Graduate Certificate in
Sterilisation and Infection Control, Operating Theatre Management
Certificate and Graduate Diploma of Health Services Management.
Stawell Regional Health Operating Suite provides
a broad range of services including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, obstetrics,
urology and ear, nose and throat surgery.
