The musos who make up the group the full mental jacket (fmj)
have a large repertoirethey play their own compositions, contemporary
songs and rock from the 1960s and 70s.
Line-up changes ensure the bands performances are always
fresh and demand for their services at events organised by councils
and health services providers is huge.
Members of the group all take part in psychiatric disability support
service day programs at the new Lifeworks centre, including the
Halcyon music program.
EACH social worker Peter Massler facilitates the Halcyon music
program and manages the band.
The fmj receives funding through the Eastern Access Community Health
(EACH) program and from Knox and Maroondah City Council.
The band performed during the opening of the new Lifeworks centre.
To book the full mental jacket contact Peter
Massler on 9758 8508. The band also charges a small fee to help
cover costs.
