About 200 pieces of artwork by young people from across Victoria
were displayed during the Centre for Adolescent Healths annual
Young Peoples Art Exhibition at the Royal Childrens
Hospital.
The artists included hospital patients, students and young people
who are disadvantaged socially and educationally, because of health
concerns or through geographic isolation.
Comedian Rod Quantock opened the Exhibition and artist Joel Ma
discussed art as a means of communication.
National Gallery of Victoria Education Officer Brian Pryke also
took part in the launch.
A performance by a group of Royal Childrens Hospital patients
told of their experiences with adolescent life and health issues.
The Exhibition was organised by the Centre for Adolescent Health
Administration Team.
