Paediatric procedures on show

Nathan Endean, 4, had a pair of extra visitors to show his bravery certificate to—visiting nurses from Wonthaggi and District Hospital.

Nathan was in the Royal Children’s Hospital for day surgery.

Nurses Kirsten Weinzierl and Robyn Godbold were spending a day reviewing the paediatric techniques and procedures the hospital uses for treating children.

Both are registered nurses who work in the operating suite and in accident and emergency at Wonthaggi Hospital.

A number of their patients are children, some of whom are referred to the Royal Children’s.
