New Royal Childrens Hospital head
Dr Tony Cull has been appointed Executive Director of the Royal
Childrens Hospital.
Dr Cull has more than 35 years in the health industry and has held
a number of senior clinical, consulting and management roles in
Australia and New Zealand.
Womens and Childrens Health Chief Executive Officer
Associate Professor Kathy Alexander said Dr Culls experience
and knowledge, especially in the clinical and management areas,
would be of tremendous benefit to the hospital.
Dr Cull will also act as Chief Medical Advisor for Womens
and Childrens Health.
He replaces Professor Glenn Bowes who has been appointed Stevenson
Professor of Paediatrics and Head of the Department of Paediatrics
at the University of Melbourne.
Professor Bowes has also been appointed Director of Post-Graduate
Education and Training with the Royal Childrens Hospital.
The position recognises the growing importance of education and
training of professionals in the Royal Childrens Hospital
precinct.
