Conference marks 50th anniversary

The Ovulation Method Research and Reference Centre of Australia (OMR&RCA) will host an International Jubilee Conference to mark the 50th anniversary of the Billings Ovulation Method of family planning.

The conference will be held at the University of Melbourne on March 28–30, 2003.

The OMR&RCA runs the Billings Family Life Centre in North Fitzroy.

The centre receives Department of Human Services funding to provides services to couples in the Northern Metropolitan Region.

Its clients include:

• Breastfeeding mothers recognising their return to fertility;

• Women approaching menopause or those with irregular cycles;

• Couples cooperating in the joint responsibility of spacing babies.

• Couples needing help to achieve a desired pregnancy.
