Call for award nominations
The Department of Human Services
is calling for nominations from the child and family welfare sector for the
2007 Robin Clark Memorial Awards.
The Robin Clark Awards recognise
and encourage work, of the highest standards, that improves the lives of
vulnerable children, young people and families in Victoria.
The awards are dedicated to the
memory of Robin Dennis Clark (1936–2001), a widely respected,
inspirational leader in the field of child, youth and family welfare.
They are aimed at volunteers and
individuals or groups from community, government and academic organisations.
Nominees should have made a
significant contribution, either in service provision or practice-based
research, to the Victorian child and family services sector.
Awards are offered in two
categories:
• Inspirational
leadership in the field;
• Making
a difference with children, young people and families.
Minister for Community Services
Gavin Jennings will announce award recipients on September 4.
Nominations close on July 13.
