Call for nominations

The Victorian Government is inviting nominations for the 2006 Robin Clark Memorial Awards.

Through the awards, the Government recognises and encourages work—of the highest standards—that improves the lives of vulnerable children, young people and families in Victoria.

The awards are dedicated to the memory of Robin Dennis Clark (1936–2001), a widely-respected, inspirational leader and role model in the field of child, youth and family welfare.

They are aimed at volunteers and individuals or groups from community, government and academic organisations.

Nominees should have made a significant contribution, either in service provision or practice-based research, to the Victorian child and family services sector.

Awards are offered in two categories—inspirational leadership in the field and making a difference with children, young people and families.

Nominations close on Friday, July 7, and Minister for Children Sherryl Garbutt will announce recipients in September.
