The Victorian Government is inviting nominations
for the 2006 Robin Clark Memorial Awards.
Through the awards,
the Government recognises and encourages workof the highest
standardsthat improves the lives of vulnerable children,
young people and families in Victoria.
The awards are dedicated
to the memory of Robin Dennis Clark (19362001), a widely-respected,
inspirational leader and role model in the field of child, youth
and family welfare.
They are aimed at
volunteers and individuals or groups from community, government
and academic organisations.
Nominees should have
made a significant contribution, either in service provision or
practice-based research, to the Victorian child and family services
sector.
Awards are offered
in two categoriesinspirational leadership in the field and
making a difference with children, young people and families.
Nominations close
on Friday, July 7, and Minister for Children Sherryl Garbutt will
announce recipients in September.
