Workshops a feature of conference

The Foster Care Association of Victoria 2004 State Conference will feature workshops on kinship care, challenging behaviours, Take Two, sexual abuse and indigenous caring.

A question and answer panel will include a Children’s Court Magistrate, Take Two worker, Department of Human Services and other agency managers and workers.

The conference will be held at Hawthorn Town Hall, Burwood Road, Burwood, on Saturday June 19.

Guest speaker will be Law Institute of Victoria past president Bill O’Shea presenting views on a children’s and young persons’ commission for Victoria.
