Conference on autism

Educator and author Rita Jordan will be a keynote speaker at Autism Victoria’s 2005 State Conference.

The conference will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre Conference Centre on July 19 and 20.

It will bring up-to-date information about autism to Victoria and comprise a range of presentations, workshops, exhibitions and special events.

Dr Jordan, from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, has written and researched on many aspects of autism, is widely published and read and has been involved in training events, consultations and conferences all over the world.

She will be joined as guest speaker by Wendy Lawson, highly regarded worldwide for her presentations and books about her personal experience with autism and practical strategies ‘that really work.’
