State and Territory Registering Authorities
Registering authorities in each state and territory are responsible for registering and monitoring training organisations and ensuring they comply with Australian Quality Training Framework standards. They also accredit Vocational Education and Training courses and approve training organisations delivery of Vocational Education and Training to overseas students. In Victoria the Office of Training and Tertiary Education and the Victorian Qualifications Authority are responsible for registering and monitoring training organisations and accrediting Vocational Education and Training courses.
