Registered Training Organisations
Registered Training Organisations, also known as RTOs are authorised to deliver accredited training, provide assessment services and award qualifications in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework and Australian Quality Training Framework. In Victoria, Registered Training Organisations include TAFE Institutes and private training providers.
Note: Organisations or businesses can be a training provider and not be a Registered Training Organisation. For example, they may provide specialised inservice training.
Across Australia there are hundreds of Registered Training Organisations including TAFE Institutes and private providers which are registered to deliver training and qualifications from the Community Services Training Package (CHCO2) and/or the Health Training Package (HLTO2).
