Men Building Bridges
The Men Building Bridges program was implemented to assist men in Victorian bushfire affected areas to reconnect with each other and the community through skills, knowledge building and information based activities. The program funded workshops and activities to support men's psychological recovery and assist in the community rebuilding process. Following machinery of government changes in early 2011 responsibility for the Men Building Bridges program transferred to the Department of Human Services.
Grant recipients are required to submit reports about workshops and activities to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund Implementation Unit. Reports are being received by the Department of Human Services, Community Participation Branch.
