What are parenting assessment and skill development services?
Parent assessment and skill development services are a targeted service provided to vulnerable children who are notified to Child Protection from birth to two years of age, but can be inclusive of three year old children. Parent assessment and skill development service assessments are used by Child Protection and the Children's Court to inform their decision making and to ensure appropriate supports are provided to children and their families. These services also include an intensive education and skill development component for parents.
Who can access PASDS?
