This Charter has been especially prepared for children who can't live with their parents and are in out-of-home care. It lists what a child or young person can expect from all those people who look after them and work with them when they are in care.

The resources are designed to help children and young people understand their rights in care, assist staff to effectively engage with children about their rights and to assist agencies embed the charter into their policies and procedures.
