Victorian Government Carer Card
Carers represent all age groups, and can be friends, neighbours or family members who care for people requiring ongoing support. They include foster, kinship and primary carers, and can also be a carer of a person with a disability, a severe or chronic medical condition, a mental illness, or someone who is frail, aged or in need of palliative care.
The Victorian Government has worked with businesses, the local government and community organisations to provide carers with the Victorian Government Carer Card. You, or someone you know, may be eligible.
Benefits of the card include free public transport on Sundays along with two return off-peak rail vouchers for travel anywhere within Victoria. Carers will also be able to enjoy discounted entries to Government venues such as zoos, museums and various tourist attractions.
