Aboriginal scholarships
The Department of Human Services delivers and administers several Aboriginal scholarships that assist Aboriginal students to complete studies that are relevant to either a career in department or in the funded health or community services sector.
What scholarships do we provide?
InTrain Scholarships
Indigenous Training and Recruitment Initiatives Program (INTRAIN) scholarships are offered to Victorian Indigenous people to assist them to complete degrees and diplomas in the health and community sector.
Postgraduate InTrain Scholarships
The aim of the postgraduate scholarship is to assist Victorian Aboriginal people to contribute positively to the improvement of the general health of the Victorian Aboriginal community.
Rotary InTrain Scholarships
Victorian Rotary Clubs and the Department of Human Services have formed a partnership to offer scholarships to the value of $5,000 to Koori applicants who have a commitment to completing either an Undergraduate Degree in Medicine or Health related courses.
