Victorian flood assistance

The Department of Human Services coordinates a range of assistance available from the Victorian Government and the not-for-profit sector to help Victorian communities recover from floods.

In the event of a flood, support and assistance is available to affected people, households, businesses and community organisations. This support includes:

  • accommodation support
  • financial support and material aid
  • health and wellbeing advice
  • household matters

Recovering from floods

A separate flood recovery website is available to support those affected by the 2012 Victorian floods, as well as those affected by the 2010-11 Victorian floods.
