Mentoring in action
Youth Mentoring Week 2011 - 23 to 29 October
Youth Mentoring Week is held every year throughout Victoria and Australia to celebrate youth mentoring and all its success, potential and opportunity.
The week provides a valuable opportunity for us to:
- celebrate the positive impact on young people
- recognise and celebrate the contribution of mentors
- raise the profile and promote the benefits of quality youth mentoring
- recruit more mentors, and
- seek support for mentoring through mentor recruitment and partnerships within communities and including business.
The Victorian Government, Youth Mentoring Network and Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance have developed tools to help you plan and deliver activities for Youth Mentoring Week.
Visit Youth Mentoring Victoria and follow the links to access a Celebration Support Kit, invitation and certificate templates so that you can celebrate the achievements of your mentors, young people and supporters.
