Creating modernised and inclusive neighbourhood houses - grant program
About the program
The grant program provides up to $30,000 to support small scale infrastructure modifications and to modernise information and communication technology. Grants of up to $15,000 are also available for minor projects to increase participation and inclusion of people with a disability and for training to strengthen governance. $700,000 will be available in this year's funding round.
Who can apply?
Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres and Neighbourhood House Networks that are part of the Neighbourhood House Coordination Program can apply.
How to apply
A copy of the 'Creating Modernised and Inclusive Neighbourhood House Guidelines' and application form can be downloaded below.
Applicants must indicate an interest with their respective DHS Social Inclusion Team by 20 December 2011 and final applications must be submitted by Monday 27 February 2012.
