About Us
This website has been created to coordinate and centralise the information available about the recovery from the 2011 Victorian floods.
Natural disasters impact a number of areas within the community. As a result, a range of commonwealth, state and local government agencies are working together to help the community recover.
Under Victoria’s state emergency arrangements, the Department of Human Services is the principal agency coordinating community recovery. For more information on these arrangements, visit the Emergency Management section on the Department of Human Services website.
