Recovery Management for Local Government

The aim of this half day session is to provide local government recovery workers with the skills to effectively manage the recovery process from a local government platform. Discussion of recovery concepts that are central to local government include:

• Scale of emergency event
• The role of the State and local government in emergencies
• Recovery service delivery
• Operational

The course will involve a mixture of lectures, small group work, exercises and experienced practitioners presenting case studies.
