Incident Control System (ICS)
Incident Control System (ICS) is an integrated management system used by emergency service organisations in many parts of the world. The aim of the 2 day ICS training program is to prepare health and human services sector staff to undertake control, logistics, planning or operations functions in a single or multi-agency emergency context.
Suggested participants
The courses is targeted to a multi-agency participation involving managers from across the health and human services sector who are likely to be involved with managing emergencies and critical incidents in an emergency operations centre (EOC), these include:
- DHS managers responsible for emergency coordination, hospital preparedness, public health response, emergency recovery and business continuity.
- Managers in Ambulance Services.
- Hospital Managers responsible for internal and external emergencies.
- Managers from Local Government and Non-Government Organisations involved with DHS portfolio interests.
