An Introductory Program for Health and Human Services Staff with an Emergency Managment Role - Self paced learning
This self paced learning program is aimed at people working in agencies with a health and human services focus including hospitals, local government, NGOs and some government departments.
The course provides an introduction to emergency management that is appropriate to people in these agencies that are new to emergency management. It covers topics such as how emergencies are managed, Victorian emergency management arrangements and specific emergency plans affecting health and human service agencies.
People who want a broader or more detailed understanding of Victorian emergency management arrangements should attend the Introduction to Emergency Management course provided by the Victoria State Emergency Service.
