Support Your Way: A self-directed approach for Victorians describes self-directed approaches to planning, funding and support, and outlines the next steps in expanding the use of self-directed approaches for Victorians with a disability. This publication was released by the Department of Human Services in March 2009.
Individual Support Package Handbook released
The Individual Support Package Handbook provides information for people with a disability when putting together and managing their Individual Support Package. It contains information, hints and checklists to help people to have more control over the supports they receive. The handbook is consistent with the Individual Support Package Guidelines.
Individual Support Package Guidelines and Individual Support Package Funding Proposal updated
The Individual Support Package Guidelines and the Individual Support Package Funding Proposal have been updated following review after the first three months of operation.
The information sheet Streamlining Individual Support Packages - What it means for current individualised support package recipients (May 2008) is available. It is also available in a number of community languages.
