Contents: Digital stories and activity sheets

Introduction

Digital stories and activity sheets have been developed as part of stage 2 of the learning and development strategy. They form part of the resources for service providers who have completed the learning and development training.

Digital stories are brief videos that provide examples of quality concepts in practice, and a first hand account of what this means for people with a disability, their family members and carers and service providers.

Activity sheets encourage disability service providers to reflect on their understanding of areas of good practice important to organisations and areas of life important to people.

By viewing the digital stories and completing the accompanying activity sheets you will gain an increased understanding of the Standards for Disability Services (2007). The Standards focus on both outcomes for people and the quality of services.
