  • Office for Disability (external link) – Department of Planning and Community Development website providing information about community awareness, the Victorian Disability Advisory Council, Disability Action Plans, and more
  • Victorian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (external link) – providing education about equality of opportunity and human rights.  It also conducts research and provides legal and policy advice
  • Action on Disability within Ethnic Communities (ADEC) (external link) – empowers people with a disability from non-English speaking backgrounds, their carers, and families to fully participate as members of the Victorian community.

Community strengthening through partnerships

  • Office for the Community Sector (external link) – office within the Victorian Department of Planning and Community Development established to work across government to strengthen support to community groups
  • Disability Online  (external link) – providing authoritative and up-to-date information of relevance to people with a disability, their families and carers
  • Infoxchange Disability News (external link) – an interactive noticeboard to share the latest news, events, activities and education notices for people with a disability, carers and disability service workers throughout Victoria.
