About the Donation Trust Fund
The Psychiatric Illness and Intellectual Disabilities Donations Trust Fund (PIIDDTF) is a collective of bequests and donations from the public to provide funds to people with a psychiatric illness or an intellectual disability.
The administration of the PIIDDTF is split between Mental Health, which is responsible for the psychiatric illness component, and Disability Services, which is responsible for the intellectual disabilities componment.
Eligibility for funding
Funding is provided four times a year to people with an intellectual disability. The funding is available for people who are unable to meet costs using their own finances or are ineligible for assistance from government funding programs.

How to apply
Case managers can apply for funding on behalf of people with an intellectual disability by filling out an
Application form (Excel 43.5 kb) and a
Justification sheet (Word 91.0 kb). All applications for funding can be forwarded to your local Department of Human Services Regional Intake and Response Service for approval.
