Departmental Plan
The DHS Executive team has been engaged in a process to renew the department's approach to strategic planning. Over a number of months they have reviewed key themes and forces that will impact on the capacity of the department and its partner organisations to deliver effective services to clients over the coming decade. We will face some significant challenges in coming years to maintain and improve the services delivered to Victorians. With this in mind the department is developing a three-year strategic plan which will reflect key strategies to meet these challenges and to ensure we are in the best possible position to provide services and support to our clients into the future. This important work is nearing completion and it is anticipated that the plan will be available in July/August 2009.
