The Metropolitan Ambulance Service and Rural Ambulance Victoria provide medically necessary ambulance transportation free to pensioners and Centrelink Health Care Card holders who do not have access to another entitlement through other Government agencies. The ambulance concession covers all medically necessary ambulance transport services, including the air ambulance service.
