  •  Carer allowance
    A carer allowance is available to people who provide daily care and attention to an adult or child who lives with them with a severe disability.
  •  Companion card
    The Companion Card is issued to people with significant, permanent disability who can demonstrate that they are unable to access most community activities and venues without attendant care support.

    Disability Online provides people with a disability, their families and carers with access to online disability related information across governments and the non-government sector
  •  Home and community care
    Home and Community Care (HACC) is a joint Commonwealth and State program that provides services to support frail elderly people, younger people with disabilities and carers.
  •  Multiple and complex needs panel
    The Multiple and Complex Needs Panel is a statutory body established under the Human Services (Complex Needs) Act.
  •  Office of the public advocate
    The Office of the Public Advocate protects the rights of Victorian people who have disabilities, they can assist if there is a complaint about services, care or treatment of the disabled.
  •  Personal alert victoria
    Personal Alert Victoria provides 24 hours service and assists frail, older people and people with a physical, sensory, intellectual or psychiatric disability and those persons who are isolated and vulnerable without constant care.
  •  Victorian aids and equipment program
    The program provides equipment services to people living in the community who have a permanent or long-term disability to help them live independently.
