The department will be at the 2009 Melbourne Reinvent Your Career Expo at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on 11th & 12th July 2009. This is Australia's first major career expo for adults so come and see us to find out how you too can enjoy a career that really makes a difference!

DHS staff share their experiences at Victoria University
North and West Metropolitan Region continue to forge a strong and valuable relationship with Victoria University. Staff members recently presented to fourth year Social Work students to share their experiences of working in the field and to discuss the variety of career options available.

Careers expo
The department was well represented at Australia's largest national careers and employment event held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 27th and 28th March 2009. The National Careers & Employment Expo brought together careers, employment and training opportunities to the public by connecting organisations with thousands of career minded individuals.
