High Risk Infant Service Quality Initiatives Project - Implementation Report

The High Risk Infants Service (HRIS) Quality Initiatives Project provides a comprehensive description of the background and aims of the project and an outline of the various initiatives with their implementation schedule.

The HRI Project, which commenced in early 1997, has developed and implemented a number of initiatives aimed at the enhancement of outcomes for high risk infants and their families known to Child Protection Services.

As the HRI Project has become better known through community forums, conference presentations and Departmental publications, it has also become evident that this project, in its scale and complexity, is apparently unique within Australia and overseas. This document will therefore be valuable in the dissemination of information and learnings from the Project.
