Statewide Equipment Program

The Victorian State-wide equipment program (SWEP) provides people with a permanent or long-term disability with subsidised aids and equipment to enhance independence in their home, facilitate community participation and support families and carers in their role.

Aids and Equipment Program

The Aids and Equipment program provides subsidised aids and equipment including wheelchairs, hoists, walking aids, specialised beds and mattresses, pressure care, orthoses commodes and home modifications.

Supported Accommodation Equipment Assistance Scheme

Provides subsidised aids and equipment for people living in Victorian Government funded Shared Supported Accommodation.

Domiciliary Oxygen program

Provides subsidised home oxygen including concentrators and oxygen gas for people living in their own homes.

Continence Aids

Continence Aids are provided to persons who are incontinent as a result of their disability.

Vehicle Modification Subsidy Scheme

A variety of vehicle modifications are covered by the scheme including minor modifications such as hand controls, and major modifications such as hoists and permanent ramps.

Top-up Fund for Children

The Top-up Fund for Children provides families and children with funding to meet the difference between aids and equipment program subsidies and the full cost of mobility equipment including power and manual wheelchairs and walking aids.
